Griffin Furniture is a woodworking business located in Odum, Ga that specializes in handmade custom furniture for the whole house. Here is the story of how we got here. Sam and Shannon Griffin started a small thrift store, mainly specializing in used furniture. Sam learned to repair broken furniture and Shannon quickly fell in love with painting and distressing. As our work got better, so did our customer base. Over the next few years, we built and painted hundreds of custom orders and slowly transitioned into only handmade pieces. In 2014 we built a shop in our backyard and closed our storefront. Griffin Furniture was born. Now we do all of our business online and offer free shipping on most of our work. I am still humbled by the responses we get from our clients and I truly couldn't imagine doing anything else.
